DESCRIPTION:Join us for a unique evening exploring the past and future of s
 upersonic civil aviation. We are delighted to welcome former Concorde Pilo
 t John Tye and Chief Concorde Pilot Mike Bannister for this special Member
 s' event.\nThe evening begins with a nostalgic look back at Concorde\, the
  technical marvel that defined an incredible era of supersonic civil aviat
 ion. Our speakers will reflect on this remarkable achievement in aviation 
 history.\nLooking forward\, Mike Bannister will reveal exciting developmen
 ts in next-generation supersonic aviation. As a director of Boom Aviation\
 , a US-based company currently developing the next generation of supersoni
 c civil airliners\, Mike will present the capabilities of aircraft under d
 evelopment and the prospect of passengers once again flying at supersonic 
 speeds.\nThe event takes place in the Clubhouse and will be broadcast on B
 M.tv Livestream. The Members' Bar will be open from 6pm\, and hot food wil
 l be available (please pre-book when purchasing tickets). In-person ticket
 s are available until 9am on the day\; livestream tickets until midday. Li
 vestream links are sent after midday on the day of the event.\nFree parkin
 g is available. For evening events\, please use Campbell Gate on Brookland
 s Road (do not follow brown museum signs). Step-free access to the Napier 
 Room is available via the Clubhouse lift.
