LAA Shobdon Strut monthly meeting

The LAA Shobdon Strut monthly meeting is a community gathering for aviation enthusiasts held at Herefordshire Aero Club on Shobdon Airfield. The group meets on the second Thursday of every month, providing a welcoming environment for both members and non-members to discuss all aspects of aviation.

Each meeting features talks that are predominantly aviation-related, covering fixed-wing aircraft, rotary-wing helicopters, and gliding. The meetings are an excellent opportunity to learn about permit-to-fly aircraft regulations and connect with fellow aviation enthusiasts. Speakers and topics change monthly, and suggestions from attendees are actively welcomed.

Meg's café opens at 18:00, allowing visitors to arrive early and enjoy refreshments before the formal meeting begins at 19:30. The relaxed atmosphere makes it ideal for networking and sharing aviation knowledge and experiences.

Attendance fees are kept minimal at £1 for members and £2 for non-members, making it accessible to anyone with an interest in aviation.
